(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday (02) informed the President of its disapproval of the decision to implement the death penalty in Sri Lanka.
President Maithripala Sirisena was informed of the stance during the Cabinet meeting yesterday, it is learnt.
