(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology forecasted that showers are expected in several areas today (27).
Accordingly, showers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-Western and Central Provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts, while fairly heavy falls about 50 millimetres can be expected at some places in Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Badulla, Ampara, and Batticaloa Districts after 2.00 this evening, the Meteorology Department further added.
