(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A new Dubai sporting event will see the stars of Bollywood cinema face off against the cream of Dubai’s sporting talent in a football match that is expected to attract around 8,000 people to Al Wasl Stadium.
The Bollywood Superstrikers team will feature team captain Sohail Khan alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, Bobby Deol, Vidyut Jamwal, Sooraj Pancholi, Amit Sadh, Sachin Joshi, Vatsal Sheth, Omkar Kapoor, Dino Morea, Aftab Shivdasani and Saqeb Salem.
Actors Salman Khan and Sanjay Dhutt are expected to make special appearances at the event.
The Dubai Dashers, meanwhile, will feature the cream of Dubai’s sporting talent in a team selected by Dubai Sports Council.
The catchily named Entertainment and Football with Bollywood (EFB) match is also set to feature musical entertainment, and will take place at Al Wasl Stadium on Friday, May 19. Ticketing details are still yet to be confirmed.
