WWE legend the Undertaker set for hip replacement surgery following WrestleMania retirement

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – WWE legend the Undertaker is set to have hip replacement surgery following his WrestleMania retirement.

According to reports, the Dead Man had been holding off having the operation to appear at the showcase of the immortals last weekend.

Taker, real name Mark Calaway, appeared to call time on his glittering wrestling career after he was defeated by Roman Reigns on Sunday.

Following his loss, he laid his iconic coat, gloves and hat in the middle of the ring to seemingly announce he was finished.

Dave Meltzer, of the Wrestling Observer, is now reporting that Undertaker will now be going through a few surgical procedures.

He also claimed that The Phenom had been preventing his hip replacement due to his commitments with WWE.

Taker had looked uncomfortable in recent weeks and was spotted limping to the ring.

He has already had surgery on the troublesome problem last year, with several images emerging online of him on crutches.

The Undertaker has dominated the WrestleMania scene for over two decade.

His record at the event stands at 23-2, the only two losses coming against Brock Lesnar and Reigns.
