(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Working Committee meeting of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), which held yesterday (01), ended with no agreement on the symbol that will be used in the forthcoming Presidential Election if they decide to support an external candidate.
The meeting was held to make a final decision on the common symbol if they were to back the Presidential candidate from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).
However, the final decision on the matter would be discussed at a special meeting of the Working Committee scheduled to be held on 05 October.
