(UTV|COLOMBO) – Deputy Leader of the United National Party (UNP) and its Presidential hopeful, Minister Sajith Premadasa has been unanimously ratified as the Presidential Candidate of the United National Front (UNF), a short while ago (03).
Leader of the UNP, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe addressing the Special Convention at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo, stated the decision was unanimously approved.
The Premier further stressed that the UNP, the United National Front (UNF) and its affiliated parties that approve the Party’s policies recommended and unanimously approved the decision to nominate Minister Premadasa.
