Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has been reprimanded for breaching the Indian Premier League’s Code of Conduct.
During Mumbai’s win over Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, Rohit expressed his displeasure after a questionable LBW decision sent him on his way for one.
After his side had raced to 2-71, Rohit strode to the crease and managed just a single from his first five balls before Rohit inside-edged a full delivery from Sunil Narine onto his pad.
But umpire CK Nandan’s finger went up straight away and a visibly unhappy Rohit offered a few choice words to the official on his trudge back to the dugout, with the Mumbai captain later charged with a Code of Conduct breach.
