(UTV|COLOMBO) – Showery condition is expected to enhance to some extent in Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Uva Provinces during next few days from today (22), the Department of Meteorology stated.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Northern, North-central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambanthota district. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.
Fairly heavy falls about 100 mm can be expected at some places in Eastern, Northern and Uva provinces and in Polonnaruwa and Hambanthota districts. Fairly heavy falls about 75 mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.
