(UTV|COLOMBO) – Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Toshimitsu Motegi will visit Sri Lanka today (12). He will be here till 14 December to further strengthen bilateral ties between Japan and Sri Lanka and with the new Government, a statement from the Japanese Embassy in Colombo stated.
Motegi will have a bilateral meeting with his Sri Lankan Counterpart Dinesh Gunawardena and pay courtesy calls on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on 13 December.
Motegi will discuss furthering the bilateral relations, including cooperation towards realising a ‘Free and Open Indo- Pacific.’
