(UTV|COLOMBO) – A renowned Indian author Ganga Prasad Vimal, has been confirmed as being among the victims of a road accident reported along the Southern Expressway on Monday night.
80 year old Vimal and two of his family members, who were in Sri Lanka on holiday, were killed in the accident.
Two of his other relations sustained injuries in the accident, while the driver of the van, who was a Lankan, was also killed in the accident.
Ganga Prasad Vimal has written several books and won several awards.
