Construction Expo 2017 edition kicks off

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka’s largest and most focused constriction related exhibition Construction Expo 2017, featuring all aspects related to the construction and building industry, kicked off yesterday at the BMICH.

Construction Expo 2017, happening for the sixth consecutive year, will once again showcase the best of what the industry has on offer. The theme of the event is “Towards a Green Sri Lanka”. This major event will enable to promote and disseminate new trends and technology developments in the sector.

The event was endorsed by the construction fraternity as the premier construction and building materials exhibition to be staged in Sri Lanka. Visitors include professionals, key decision makers, buyers, suppliers, traders, distributors and much more. The organisers are expecting more than 15,000 to 20,000 visitors for the exhibition this year and are optimistic it will benefit all stakeholders including contractors, architects, quantity surveyors, engineers and other related parties in the sector.

Over the years, the exhibition has been the most sought after gathering place for consumers on the lookout for different facets related to the construction industry in terms of products and service providers.

“This year, Construction Expo 2017 will feature numerous concurrent and new events to supplement the main exhibition. Apart from the exhibition, seminars, discussion and meeting with foreign and local construction experts will also take place. This will enable local contractors to know and understand the trends and new technology available in the sector.”

Profiles of exhibits based on Construction Suppliers, Construction Equipment, Construction Machinery, Construction Technology, Construction Material, Construction Service, Building Material, Building Supplies, Building Developing Service, Building Machinery, Building Equipment, Cement, Sand, Brick and Plywood will also be featured.
