(UTV|COLOMBO) – A total of 450 differently able Army War Heroes will showcase their athletic talents at the 20th Sri Lanka Army Para Games – 2017, scheduled to be held at the Diyagama Stadium in Homagama from 22 to 24 November.
This was revealed at a press conference held at the Media Centre of the Ministry of Defence in Colombo recently.
According to Army Media sources the Sri Lanka Army Para Games – 2017 is to be attended by foreign sportsmen and retired Army personnel as well.
Major General Dampath Fernando, Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Para Sports Committee, Director of the MoD Media Centre, Major General Roshan Senevirathna and Deputy Chairman, Army Para Committee, and Brigadier Rajeev Wickramasinghe were associated with the press briefing.
