(UTV|COLOMBO) – A prevention programme against Dengue epidemic was conducted in Kilinochchi to prevent any spread of Dengue after the rainy season.
1 Officer and 15 Other Ranks of 16 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry serving the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) participated in the Dengue prevention ‘Shramadana’ programme, held in township area.
In the meantime, another Dengue prevention ‘Shramadana’ programme got underway with the help of 17 (V) Gajaba Regiment troops to clean the Bharathipuram Amman Kovil premises.
Both Dengue prevention ‘Shramadana’ campaigns were conducted with the blessings of the Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi (SF-KLN).
