(UTV| COLOMBO) – Comedian Jordan Peele has announced he’s giving up acting to turn his focus entirely on directing.
Peele and his comedy partner Keegan Michael-Key had years of success on the small screen with their hit series “Key and Peele” and made one feature together in the form of cat kidnap comedy “Keanu”.
Last year though Peele tried his hand at directing with his debut film “Get Out” both a critical and commercial smash hit with Peele potentially scoring an Oscar nomination.
Explaining his decision, Peele tells EW: “Daniel Day-Lewis and I are both out (laughing). Acting is just nowhere near as fun for me as directing.”
