(UTV|COLOMBO) – A plane has crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu.
The plane, operated by US-Bangla, a Bangladeshi airline, veered off the runway while landing on Monday afternoon, causing a blaze.
The plane had 67 passengers and four crew on board, officials say. There are casualties but the number has not been confirmed.
Seventeen people on board have been rescued so far, the authorities say.
