The Embilipitiya power plant refused to supply power due toRs. 850 million arrears.
The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy says that since arrears of Rs. 850 million owed to Embilipitiya private power plant has been settled and supplying power has commenced again.
The Media Spokesperson of the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy, Sulakshana Jayawardena said, that the issue has been amicably settled now.
