The couple who had arrived in Sri Lanka from Kuwait had brought a dog along with them but they were not willing to abide by Sri Lanka’s Animal Quarantine regulations and had attempted to forcibly exit the Bandaranaike International Airport.
Thereafter Kuwait couple attacked customs officials and Five Customs Officers have been admitted to the Negombo Hospital.
The couple has been taken into the custody of customs officials for an investigation.
