(UTV|COLOMBO) Sri Lanka gave their fans something cheer about as they defeated South Africa by 178 runs in the fifth and final ODI. Chasing 300 runs, South Africa were bundled out for 121. Only three South African batsmen managed to get into the double-figure mark with stand-in skipper Quinton de Kock scoring 54. For Sri Lanka, it was Akila Dananjaya who bagged a fifer. Earlier, the home side rode on an emphatic 97* from Angelo Mathews to post 299/8 in 50 overs. South Africa won the series 3-2.
