(UTV|COLOMBO) – A special meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday (16) between the National Transport Commission (NTC) and two private bus associations with regard to the reduction of bus fares.
Accordingly, the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association (LPBOA) and the All Ceylon Private Bus Workers’ Association (ACPBWA) will participate in the meeting, and are expected to take a decision on reducing bus fares as fuel prices were reduced yesterday (15).
Bus Associations stated that an announcement will be made following the discussion with NTC.
