Aquaman to release in India before US

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Warner Bros’ DC film Aquaman will hit Indian screens on December 14, which is a week earlier than its US release date, December 21. The first DC film since last year’s Justice League, Aquaman centres on a human-Atlantean hybrid Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) who is called upon by Amber Heard’s Mera to take the Atlantean throne as its rightful king.

Along the way, he has to fight his half-brother, Patrick Wilson’s King Orm or Oceanmaster, his sinister lieutenant Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and others. He also has to stop Orm from raging a war against the ‘surface world’, which is our world, for irreversibly polluting the oceans.

Directed by James Wan (The Conjuring), Aquaman also stars Willem Dafoe, Dolph Lundgren and Nicole Kidman among others.
