(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Former President Parliamentarian (MP) Mahinda Rajapaksa says that he protected the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) even during hard times.
He made this announcement at a public meeting in Agalawatte area, Kalutara. The meeting was held to commemorate the 35th anniversary of MP Kumara Welgama’s tenure as an organizer of the party.
Joint Opposition (JO) members, leaders of political parties and MPs attended the meeting that was held under the leadership of the former president.
