(UTV|COLOMBO) – Independence Day rehearsals which were scheduled to be held opposite the Galle Face Green have been cancelled due to the complaints made by the public over severe traffic congestion.
Severe traffic congestion was reported around Colombo Fort and Colpetty areas due to the closure of roads opposite Galle Face Green due to the rehearsals for past few days.
However, the rehearsals will take place on Saturday (02) and Sunday (03) from 7.00 AM until 2.00 PM.
