(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur in several places over the island except Northern and Eastern provinces after 2.00 p.m.
However, Showers or thundershowers are expected at a few places (after 2.00 pm) in the Northern and Eastern provinces too.
A few showers also likely along the coastal area during the morning too.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
