(UTV|COLOMBO) – Former Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Labour, Jayasiri Vijayanath Tennakoon on Thursday (07) appointed as the new Prisons Commissioner- General.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved his appointment at the meeting held on Wednesday (06).
Tennakoon will assume duties next week.
