(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The special traffic plan imposed in Rajagiriya as part of the Priority lane project will continue today (13th Monday) as well.
The Ministry of Mega-polis issuing a statement said the traffic plan will be in effect till the 18th of March as a trial period.
The priority lane project is due to minimize traffic congestion in the area. Through the project dual lanes will be considered priority lanes for passenger buses.
Dual lanes between the Rajagiriya Junction to the Ayurvedic Junction and Ayurvedic Junction to the Rajagiriya junction will function as priority lanes.
