(UTV|COLOMBO) – A total of 1,536 drivers have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol from 11 April, the Police stated on Wednesday (17).
Accordingly, a total of 42,114 cases have been filed against various traffic offences during the island-wide operations.
Furthermore, 266 drivers have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol during the last 24-hours, while 7,134 cases filed on various traffic violations.
