Grace period to handover weaponised-sharp objects, Military uniforms extended

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Police on Monday (06) announced that the grace period granted to handover illegally held any-and-all weaponised-sharp objects, including daggers, kris knives, swords, and Military uniforms to the nearest Police Station has been extended by 48-hours.

The grace period was granted as the Police are conducting island-wide search operations following the coordinated suicide bombings on Easter Sunday (21).
