(UTV|COLOMBO) – A foreign national has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport while attempting to take with him Japanese yen amounting to Rs.8.1 million.
The Airport Customs said yen amounting to Rs.5 million was concealed in the individual’s luggage.
The 38 year old Japanese national is engaged in a development project in the country.
The Customs is conducting further investigations.
