(UTV|COLOMBO) – Two women died while four others sustained injuries after a three-wheeler they were travelling in had fallen down a 400-feet precipice in Ravana Ella along the Ella-Wellawaya road.
The duo died upon admission to the Bandarawela and Badulla hospitals.
The deceased, aged 36 and 38 are residents of Meegakiwula and Ella. Three children and the driver of the three-wheeler had sustained injuries in the incident.
Police said the injured children are aged 8, 10 and 16 while the Ella Police Station is conducting investigations into the incident.
