(UTV|COLOMBO) – United National Party Parliamentarian Chaminda Wijesiri has demanded the President to publicize the final report compiled by the Special Investigations Committee appointed by the Executive to probe the Easter Sunday attacks.
Speaking to a prominent online news portal,the Parliamentarian Wijesiri said the President had publicized information in reports complied by previous Commission via media.
The Parliamentarian expressed hope that the President will follow the same process and release the contents of the Easter Sunday attack report.
The MP said he believes the President would reveal the contents of the reports as he had previously made reports such as the report of the Presidential Commission looking into the bond issuances public.
MP Wijesiri challenged the President to publicize it and table the report in Parliament.
The MP added they will propose a debate on the report in the House.
