(UTV|COLOMBO) – Seventy-three police officers, including senior superintendent of police (SSP), superintendent of police (SP), a woman police superintendent, chief inspectors (CI) and inspectors of police had been transferred with immediate effect, the police said.
They said the National Police Commission (NPC) had approved the transfers which were made due to service requirements.
Accordingly, four SSPs, twenty-two SPs, 24 ASPs, thirteen chief inspectors (CI), a woman police superintendent and nine inspectors (IP) were transferred.
