(UTV|COLOMBO) – A van and a tipper truck collided in Kudameegaswewa area on Dambulla-Habarana road last night around 10.00 pm.
Three persons died and two were critically injured, have been admitted to Dambulla Hospital.
It was reported that the driver of the van and two females had died in the accident.
The victims were residents of Polonnaruwa and Kurunegala.
Habarana Police has arrested the driver of the tipper truck.
Habarana Police is conducting further investigations.
