(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Days after getting engaged to John Cena at WrestleMania, Nikki Bella announced that she is stepping away from the ring to heal.
In the days before WrestleMania in Orlando, Bella said she had a “slight herniation” in her neck, but had met with her surgeon last Wednesday and was cleared for the mixed tag team match with Cena against The Miz and Maryse.
“I kind of sprained my neck, and we found out some other stuff is going on, so I’m definitely going to have to take some time to heal that,” she told Between The Ropes radio.
Bella had neck fusion surgery in January 2016 and missed eight months before returning at Summer Slam.
