The Supreme Court on 30 August ordered the Elections Commission to hold the ‘Pradeshiya Sabha’ Election in Elpitiya at the earliest.
Therefore, the ‘Pradeshiya Sabha’ Election in Elpitiya will held on 11 October, as the Galle District Secretary issued the Extraordinary Gazette Notification announcing the date of the election.
