(UTV|COLOMBO) – The decision on the Presidential Candidate of the United National Party (UNP) will be announced next week, the General Secretary of the UNP, Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam stated.
Kariyawasam stressed that the Party Leader of the UNP, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe informed of him of his decision earlier yesterday.
The Presidential Election will be conducted on 16 November, while the nominations for the Election will be called from 07 October 2019.
