(UTV|COLOMBO) – Minister Lakshman Kiriella claims Gotabaya Rajapaksa will be the easiest candidate to defeat at the upcoming Presidential election.
Speaking at a public rally the Minister said democracy was established in the country under the present administration’s rule.
He said everyone is aware of what Gotabaya did as the Secretary of Defence, adding that despite shortcomings this country is decent, the government does not kill, journalists are not murdered and judges are not dismissed.
He noted though the law is violated by people and murders are taking place, that was a separate matter because the government has no connection to such crimes.
Minister Kiriella stressed that a decent government was established in the country and this is something to be proud of.
