(UTV|COLOMBO) – Water supply has been suspended for 24 hours starting from 8 am today (Oct 8) to several areas in the Gampaha district, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
The NWSDB explained that water supply would be interrupted due to the repairs of certain pipelines under a project involving the South bound of the Kelani River.
Accordingly, water supply would be cut-off tothe following areas ;
- Peliyagoda
- Wattala
- Mabole
- Ja-Ela
- Katunayake
- Biyagama
- Mahara
- Dompe
- Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha areas
