(UTV|COLOMBO) – The voter turnout for the Pradeshiya Sabha Election in Elpitiya has been reported over 55% as of yet.
Voting for the Pradeshiya Sabha Election in Elpitiya commenced at 7.00 this morning (11).
Forty-seven polling centres have been facilitated to cast votes until 4.00 this evening, and 53,384 individuals are eligible to cast their ballots.
Five parties represented by 155 candidates are contesting the Election, with the election being conducted to elect 28 members, with 17 individuals to be selected for 17 divisions and 11 others to be elected from a second list.
