(UTV|COLOMBO) – Parliamentarian Charles Nirmalanathan says a statement on who the Tamil National Alliance will support at the upcoming Presidential Election will be revealed on the 24th of October.
MP Nirmalanathan said representatives of the Tamil National Alliance will convene in Colombo on the 23rd and 24th of October for discussions, and in order to reach a final decision.
The Parliamentarian noted that Presidential candidates they held discussions with, have not responded yet to a letter containing 13 facts tabled by five Tamil political parties.
Parliamentarian Nirmalanathan said the inability to meet and hold discussions with the main candidates at the Presidential Election will not affect the decision by the Tamil National Alliance.
