(UTV|COLOMBO) – The bribery case filed against Avant Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi has been fixed for November 14 by the Colombo High Court, today (Oct 22).
Senadhipathi, has been charged by the Bribery Commission for offering a bribe of Rs 35.5 million to Rakna Lanka Company Chairman Retired Major General Palitha Fernando.
He had not appeared before court today, as he has been remanded over a case filed by the Attorney General, against the operation of an illegal floating armoury of his company Avant Garde Maritime Services.
The Avant Garde Chairman had been served indictments on 47 counts over the bribery case.
