(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Deepika Padukone has been reportedly suffering from back injury due to which she cancelled the shooting of Padmavati while being on the sets at Film City. The doctors had to be called on the sets for checkup and they advised her to take rest for a few days.
Indian media reported that the 31-year-old actor was suffering from acute back pain right after she came on the sets of her upcoming film ‘Padmavati’. Deepika started feeling uncomfortable and doctors were called on the sets for medical checkup.
The doctors advised her to take rest and skip shooting for a few days. The movie shooting requires Deepika to wear heavy dresses, however, she is currently not in a condition to carry the costumes.
Also, other actors on the sets including the male lead Shahid kapoor, who plays as Deepika’s husband, continued shooting his scenes. On the other hand, the Bollywood diva has been advised to take rest for the next three days.
The shooting had to be earlier suspended due to attacks on the sets in November. The movie director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has maintained strict security afterwards.
