(UTV|COLOMBO) – Election manifesto of New Democratic Front (NDF) Presidential Candidate, Minister Sajith Premadasa was launched in Kandy today (31).
‘Sajith’s Social Revolution’, the election manifesto was earlier this morning presented to the Chief Prelate of the Malwathu Chapter Most Venerable Tibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Thero. It was later presented to the Chief Prelate of the Asgiri Chapter Venerable Warakagoda Gnanarathana Thero as well.
Speaking at the event to unveil his manifesto, Premadasa assured he is committed to safeguarding the country’s unitary status.
He stressed that under his governance the country will not bow to any foreign nation and will not tolerate interference by other forces, groups and their internal agendas.
He firmly pledged that the country’s unitary status, sovereignty, political freedom, priority to Buddhism and the protection of all races will be ensured.
Premadasa also reiterated that the sovereignty of the people will be upheld.
