(UTV|COLOMBO) – Three Police Officers attached to the Hemmathagama Police have been interdicted with immediate effect over the failure to conduct stringent investigations into the incident where a 26-year-old mentally disabled girl was sexually abused by a 23-year-old person at Devanagala, the Police said.
Accordingly, one Sub-Inspector and two Police Constables have been interdicted.
