(UTV|COLOMBO) – Presidential candidate of the National People’s Party General Mahesh Senanayake says he will not give up his efforts until the expectations of the people are met.
Speaking at a rally in Galle, General Mahesh noted that he will continue to serve the people even after the presidential election.
He was confident that he was ready to face any challenge.
General Mahesh Senanayake noted that he is not a person who would take a step back after taking a step forward.
He pointed out how the country had no laws in place, and added that it is much better now.
The Presidential candidate promised he would not give up the fight, even after the election.
Senanayake promised to stand by the people and continue to support them to make their dreams a reality.
He pledged to serve the Nation in the future, and not rule over it.
General Mahesh Senanayake denied claims of him joining Parliament.
He also guaranteed that he will not disappear after this election, and added he will continue stick by the country even after the election.
