(UTV|COLOMBO) – Thundershowers accompanied by severe lightning were likely to occur at several places in Central,Sabaragamuwa, Western, Southern, Uva, and North-western provinces in the evening or night, Department of Meteorology said today.
“Fairly heavy falls about (75-100) mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces. Temporarily strong gusty winds up to 70-80 kmph also possible during thundershowers,” the Department said.
