(UTV|COLOMBO) – Several areas in the Colombo District will experience low water pressure, while other areas will face water cuts today (18), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced.
Accordingly, the water supply to Maradana, Maligawatte, Colombo Fort, Pettah, Chittampalam A Gardiner Mawatha and D. R. Wijewardene Mawatha will be disrupted.
The water supply is being disrupted due to urgent repairs of a pipeline along the Colombo – Avissawella Old Road.
Meanwhile, the water supply to Colpetty and Colombo 12 and 13 will be provided at low pressure throughout the day till midnight.
