(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka’s new cricket coach South Africa’s Mickey Arthur has arrived in Sri Lanka and will travel to Pakistan with the Sri Lanka team for the two-Test tour later this week.
Arthur who has served before as head coach of South Africa, Australia and Pakistan is expected to take over officially for Sri Lanka’s tour to India for three T20 Internationals in January.
Sri Lanka Cricket have also roped in the services of Zimbabwe’s Grant Flower (batting coach), and Australians David Saker (bowling coach) and Shane McDermott (fielding coach) to join Arthur in the team rebuilding following the poor performances of the national team in the 2019 World Cup.
