(UTV|COLOMBO) – Dr. Charitha Herath has decided not to accept the position as the new Chairman of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL – Lake House).

We’ve been successful in defeating the so called Yahapalana govt & now it’s our responsibility to contribute in strengthening the national policy framework of HE @GotabayaR. Hence my wish is to politically engage in the process of making president’s vision in to a reality.

Dr. Herath stated that he wished to concentrate on contesting the forthcoming Parliament Election from Kurunegala District.
