(UTV|COLOMBO) – Envoys belonging to the Middle East Ambassadors’ Forum called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretary yesterday.
Congratulating President Rajapaksa on his recent victory, they assured their continued support and co-operation to the new government in the economic and cultural spheres. They also assured that their countries would work with dedication to improve and further ties with Sri Lanka led by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Ambassadors of Palestine, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, Libya and Qatar were among the membership who attended the meeting, a media release from the Presidents Media Division said.
