Former Ministers to face legal action if fail to handover official residences, vehicles

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs and Provincial Councils Siripala Hettiarachchi has informed all former Cabinet, Deputy, and State Ministers in writing that legal action would be taken against them if they continue to delay in handing over their official residences and vehicles given to them by the Government.

Dr. Jayasundara too had informed them earlier to hand over these State properties as early as possible to facilitate the new Ministers and State Ministers to accomplish their public service efficiently and early as instructed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
